Warriors Come Out To Play

Here are some pictures and movie posters from one of my all time favorite films ever!
The sound track was just ace, wish I still had it.

I must have have watched it more than 30 times in my life and never tire of it!

Swan, Cochise, Cowboy, Rembrandt and the rest of the gang have to fight loads of gangs "All the way home to Coney Island".

The big show down with the Rifts at the end had you jumping up and down like crazy!

And the famous clinking of the bottles "Warriors come out to plaayy" just made you want to get up and have a fight!

I actually owned the movie poster like the one above, if you get chance to see this film I would definitely recommend it!!!!
Take care and F.T.W. ron!

I'm Not Racist, I Just Hate Everybody!!!

Once more into the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close the wall up with our English dead! In peace there's nothing so becomes a man as modest stillness and humility; But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger... I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips, Straining upon the start. The game's afoot! Follow your spirit; and upon this charge, Cry "God for Harry! England and Saint George!!! Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war "

Today is the 23Rd of April which is the Patron Saints Day of England, good old George! there's more to this comment than meets the eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Boys Are Back In Town/Blues Brothers

Went out last night to my company's do. (FK) with my old mate Beggi, and to say we looked like something out of a remake of the BB's or off the cover of an old album is a understatement!!! I will try and get a photo of the pair of us and post it at a later date, its worth looking at! Everywhere we went people who know us were a bit shocked to say the least, and some of the looks on there faces were priceless!
Take care, F.T.W.

Would the real Mr. Gomez please stand up

This weekend turned out to be quite strange and surreal, I went away for the Saturday night with the Mrs to her new works 'bonding session' (murder mystery role playing game). I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome, free/open bar, great hotel and outstanding food!! And the bloody butler (nice chap by the way) did not do it! Take care and sleep tight, F.T.W.

"The Beginning Of The End"

Talking of my past, here are the first few opening paragraphs of a book I started to write when I first moved to London (late 95/96). Enjoy

The sun was streaming through the bay window, he had not eaten properly for almost two weeks apart from chips and home made bread and he needed a cigarette badly. Four days now without a smoke, something had to be done about his financial situation. He remembered that advert in the picture framing shop window advertising to buy unwanted gilt frames.

In desperation he recalled that his mother had still got his old wedding photograph in the attic and it had a Victorian ornate gilt frame so he went and dug it out. Had it really only been four years ago since that fateful day in August, he thought to himself standing on the upstairs landing staring into the dust covered print. As he had walked down the aisle with sweat dripping off the end of his nose to his chin, he had realised that he was making a terrible mistake. The first night of his honeymoon he got into the bed they shared, took off his wedding ring, turned over and went to sleep.

Later that morning as the sun reached its peak, he purposefully strode out along the steeply banked pavement towards the small cluttered store that held the promise of enough money to survive until the end of the week. Once in the shop he exchanged the frame for a crisp ten pound note and then left looking intently to fulfill his nicotine craving and something to fill his grumbling stomach. The first stop was the Cornish pastie bakery on the corner, followed very quickly by the tobacconist two doors down. Wolfing down the huge pastie, while seated on a granite wall outside Tesco's he observed a man watching him from a distance.

The Mrs thinks I should write more of this book, I'm inclined to agree with her! So look out for the next page soonish! Sleep tight & take care F.T.W.

The Sun Has Got Its Hat On. And Its Coming Out To Play.

The sun is shining and the beer is cold, what else can a man ask for? Plenty if you ask me!!!! Been thinking about my past of late. Some good, some bad! Especially about all the people I have known throughout my varied and chequered past. To say the least its a bloody lot of them! From the Syd Slogget's to the Joe Tart's of this world, or in other words from the sublime to the downright ridiculous! Where are they and what are there lives like now? Dead or alive, who knows! But I would dearly love to find out! F.T.W.
